Over the past few months, Honda has slowly been revealing its 2020 Civic lineup. Now, the brand has released its last updated model – the 2020 Honda Civic Si. These are some of the changes you can expect from this performance-oriented ride.
A new exterior look. While the Civic Si hasn’t undergone a complete design overhaul, it does have a revised front end that features a gloss black surrounding trim and a body-color crossbar. Its fog lights are now LED, while the primary lamps are multi-element LED headlights.
Standard safety tech. For the 2020 model year, the Civic Si will now come standard with the Honda Sensing® suite of safety technologies. This means you will receive a Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™), a Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and a Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) no matter which Si trim you choose.
A sportier interior. Inside the Si’s cabin, you will find updated sport seats that are highlighted by red accents. A new red trim will highlight the instrument panel and the physical buttons and knobs on the center console.
Increased responsiveness. The six-speed manual transmission now has a final-drive ratio that is 6% shorter, making the Civic Si’s acceleration more responsive throughout the gears.
With the 2020 model, Honda has taken the crowd-pleasing Civic Si to another level altogether. We’re looking forward to seeing you here at Jack Matia Honda when the new Civic Si finally hits roads later this year.
